Chapter Two

We're back! Sherri has been moving right along with her job.
Late night reading sessions definitely help.

Her work schedule and all the romping around town finally caught up.
"I really want to care that you're here, Kason. Honest."

Woo, a fridge! No more chips for this gal.
Someone doesn't look happy.
"I will miss their salty crunchiness."

You know you've been roughing it when a sink makes you smile.
We almost have everything we need. Shower time is still happening off the lot for now.

Sherri and Kason visit the park on a date.
A slovenly dressed man promptly sits down beside them and falls asleep.
"Reminds me of Chicago."
Funny, but not really.

This in no way interferes with the mood. They simply wait for him to leave.
Kissy faces and kissy plumbobs.

Grilling in the park is a total ripoff, but I decide to splurge.
Sherri appears to be in her own happy world. Is it just me or is she gaining weight?

Um, yeah. So then some dancing takes place.
It's just a tad too mellow and goofy, but no one notices.

I really can't get over the sims sitting on beds. This is revolutionary.
I've been playing since the original Sims game released, and this one detail blows my mind. I love it. The awesome computer is a reward from a promotion in the writer career. If I had only known, I guess I wouldn't have bought a computer way back at the start, but no biggy. You can also see our little doll collection. Yay for the bad mood erasers.

Sherri and Kason have been boyfriend and girlfriend for a day or two. Proposal time!
As you can see from the silver bucket by the fridge, their one and only date went gold. The reward items are such a nice surprise when you don't expect anything. Kason said, "Yes."

Another cool perk is doing computer work while listening to music.
There are no light sources on the lot, but Sherri is still feeling good and having fun.

After one last night of single simdom, it's time to have a quick wedding.
Kason not only places a giant ring on Sherri's finger, but also brings $20,000 to the coffers.

Here is the fabulous home I built for the newlyweds.
The rooms are all larger than they need to be so that I can easily take pics with the walls up. How do you like the roof? I failed at roofing, so between my son and husband this is what I got. Hopefully I will get better with practice. I miss the automatic roofing option.

Don't you just love choosing the more expensive stove because your new husband sim is in the culinary career...only to have him start a fire the first time he uses it?
I think I've learned my lesson about fire prevention.

Back to the cheap stove for you, Kason.
 Thanks for not killing yourself.

Uh oh, more of that excellent dancing.
Sherri still manages to be attentive to Kason's conversation while busting a move.

It pays off with a lovely attempt at making a baby.
It's so much easier to direct them to do this now. Sims 3 always ended up getting them clogged up somewhere on the way to bed, eventually causing one sim to get there after the other was gone.

Kason is excited about the violin. He loves buying stuff because he's materialistic.
His other traits are dastardly (from Chief of Mischief aspiration), gloomy, and creative. He joined our legacy with 16 days left until he ages to elder. Bonus: Mixology skill of 8.

Woot! Pregnant on the first try.
Will it be a boy or a girl?  And who will clean up that confetti? See you next time.
